WHEN: January 30, 2012; starts at 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: Sandy Springs location (227 Sandy Springs Place Atlanta, Ga. 30328)

DETAILS: There will be two bartenders from each Meehan’s location to participate in the Guinness Pour. Judges will determine which bartender will get the ultimate prize of participating in the perfect pint contest at Taco Mac in February. 1ST ANNUAL SOUP WARS FEAT. ALL THREE MEEHAN’S PUBLIC HOUSE LOCATIONS

Join us this January for our 1st Annual “Soup Wars.” Each pub location will feature special soups that will tempt your taste buds. Soups will range anywhere from $6.00 to $9.00 and can be purchased with a sandwich or salad, as well as on their own. There will be four soups available through January at each pub by chefs, Jordan Wakefield (Downtown), Val Domingo (Sandy Springs) and Chef Branden Holte (Vinings). Show your support and vote for your favorite soup. The Chef and pub with the most votes’ wins and their selected soup will be featured in all of the pubs for the month of February.

Voting will take place in-house, at any of our locations. When guests order the soup of their choice, they will be given a voting card. Meehan’s patrons will provide their email and cast their vote for a favorite soup. By filling out the ballot, the customer will automatically be entered to win a gift card to the Meehan’s pub of their choice.
